A Message to Healthcare Professionals

"I wish someone would have told me about this!"

Exercise is safe and beneficial for people living with and beyond cancer. Healthcare professionals play a key role in engaging and supporting cancer patients to be sufficiently active. Several studies have shown that people are more likely to exercise when it is recommended by a healthcare clinician.

The PAC Lab is here to help you help your patients. Our exercise programs are led by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and supported by kinesiology students from Dalhousie's School of Health and Human Performance. We are happy to meet with you and your team to discuss how our exercise programs work and how we can support the health of your patients.

Referring your patients to any of our exercise programs is easy. Simply email us or complete and return the referral form to us by email or fax. Note that participants may (and do) self-refer. Participants who find us without a referral regularly tell us "I wish someone would have told me about this!"
